LinkMount is a multipurpose surface mount that serves simultaneously as a phone stand, universal tripod mount, and grip ring.
With a magnetic surface mount that allows for space-efficient storage and in-car usage, and a universal tripod mount makes for better action video and photography, LinkMount’s multifunctional system allows it to be used in the outdoors and the boardroom alike.
“We’ve re-imagined the purpose of the mobile attachment and, as a result, of the mobile device itself,” says Co-Founder Satoshi Sakaguchi. “LinkMount was always envisioned as a way to combine the functionality of the common mobile accessories into one streamlined tool.”
Created by the PLUST industrial design firm, LinkMount has managed to raise nearly four times its original $35,000 Kickstarter goal, and aims to ship its final product by the end of the year.
“It took a lot of testing, and a lot of rethinking, but in the end, we were able to deliver a on a clean, elegant design that fulfills all its promises without tacking on extra weight or flimsy parts,” Sakaguchi adds, “LinkMount is leaner than most phone mounts, sturdier, and reusable, it just also happens to do more than any of the others ever aspired to.”
